A look at the history of Deaf Calgarians and Calgary Association of the Deaf. It was originally started a couple of decades ago and were unfinished for some reason. There were old footage and photographs that were yet to be incorporated.
So the organization decided to put together a team to finish this archival video and I was invited to contribute my editing skills. I worked closely with members and organized all the old footage to follow the right timeline.
After we finished filming interviews, I worked with Adobe Premiere Pro and After Effects to achieve these visual effects like the dust, spotlights and the camera panning over special photo collages. Also the timeline and most of the transitions, I did all of that and had a lot of fun.
This video was shown at Calgary Association of the Deaf 80th anniversary banquet, and everyone really enjoyed the video!
